POST-SALE and SHIPPING:
It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange for and pay for shipping. J. Garrett Auctioneers does not provide shipping services or shipping quotes. We also do not supply packing materials whatsoever. All buyers should come prepared to pack and load their purchases to their satisfaction. J. Garrett Auctioneers shall not be held liable for damage that occurs after an item leaves our dock OR if left on-site more than 10 days post-sale. We are not affiliated with any shippers. We provide a list of reputable shippers as a courtesy only, and will not be held liable for any damages, loss, delays, or quotes. Please visit our website www.jgarrettauctioneers.com for a complete list of shippers. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PAID FOR AND PICKED UP WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION. WE WILL HAVE HELP AVAILABLE FOR LOADING TRUCKS FOR 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING THE SALE. After 10 business days post sale, any remaining items shall be moved into storage – NO EXCEPTIONS. The Buyer will be charged $10 Per Lot / Per Day beginning on that day. Buyers will be 100% responsible for storage fees incurred with J. Garrett Auctioneers. Buyer will be responsible to contact us directly to schedule pickup/shipping of items. Items not picked up within 30 days post sale shall be considered ABANDONED, IN WHICH CASE BUYER WILL FORFEIT OWNERSHIP AND ITEMS WILL BE SOLD OR DONATED. J. GARRETT IS NOT REQUIRED TO COMPENSATE BUYER AFTER THIS TIME.
Pickup hours are Monday-Friday only, from 9am-4pm CST, for 10 business days following the sale. A confirmed appointment is strongly advised (shippers should email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 214-943-7801 to confirm). It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide the shipper with a complete list of items won, lot numbers, as well as shipping address. We are not responsible if shippers arrive late, unannounced, outside of these hours, or if they fail to pickup all items purchased. We are not open Saturdays or Sundays. After 10 days, an appointment is required as we do not keep regular business hours.
J. GARRETT WILL NOT RELEASE ITEMS TO THE SHIPPER WITHOUT A COMPLETED BILL OF LADING. NO EXCEPTIONS. INTERNATIONAL PURCHASERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CUSTOMS FORMS, ENTRIES, RELEASES, DUTIES AND FEES, AND J. GARRETT AUCTIONEERS, NOR SHIPPERS RECOMMENDED BY J. GARRETT WILL BE LIABLE FOR ITEMS HELD UP BY FOREIGN CUSTOMS OR RELEASE ASSOCIATED DUE TO IMPROPER CUSTOMS FORMS OR DECLARATIONS. Pickup address is 9203 Diplomacy Row, Dallas, TX 75247 unless otherwise stated in the lot description or disclosed to buyer prior to appointment.
J. Garrett Auctioneers is not affiliated with any shippers and buyer is solely responsible for coordinating shipping of purchases. The list below is provided as a convenience only; our customers have reported good experiences with the shippers listed. J. Garrett will not be held liable for any issues that arise after items leave our dock, including damage, loss, delays, or pricing. Buyers should discuss insurance directly with the shipper of choice. To avoid moving and storage fees, we strongly recommend paying for your items promptly after the auction.
