J. Garrett Auctioneers presents a special collection curated by John Phifer Marrs, premier Southern interior designer known for an elegant, fresh and inviting design method, often called The New Southern Style. Pieces from John’s own collection will be highlighted in this 2-day auction event, including fine European and American antiques and art. John has selected many wonderful pieces perfect for creating a strong foundation for collecting antiques, fine silver, European art, and unique pieces for every home.

John’s work has been regularly featured in local and national publications including the venerable Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, and many others. He recently released his new book, Interiors for Collectors, and stays busy with both design work and author appearances. Several pieces published in the book will be highlighted at auction.

In addition to Mr. Marrs selections, items from several private estates are included, along with a fantastic collection of fine jewelry to be offered over the two days. This collection includes top designers such as David Webb, Tiffany & Co., Piaget, Elizabeth Gage, De Grisogono, Chanel, and others. Estate-fresh pieces, many fine diamonds and rare gems will be available to the public.
